The Queens of sex positivity at Sex Plus Zine have always been supportive of us right from day one. Here's an article I wrote for them on the ethos behind the brand and what sexuality looks like. This is the most personal out of the posts I've written for blogs. It touches upon body image and a feeling of alienation that I had with sex toy shopping. That tired "black lace and leather" aesthetic which has long since been the standard has always intimidated me somewhat. Things are changing now and the image of sexy is changing too.
"Female sexuality is always marketed by brands as an illusive, mysterious thing but I think it’s far more visceral than that. In real life watching the way someone laughs can be the most attractive thing about them. Confidence is sexy and this goes for any age, gender and sexual-preference."
